I had always wanted to name my first son after my Dad who was the my best friend and a wonderful person. Luckily I also loved the
name Alexander. Andrew is after Alexander's dad and Hunter is the name of my Dad's brother and my Grandma's maiden name. My Dad
was always known as Alec and my son is always Alexander so Im happy too that it has now truly become his name in his own right

She was born on July 8, 2004 in the pic she was 9 months. I heard the name some where and fell in love with it! My
husband picked the middle name after my mother. The spelling of Airyana was a challange, I could not find it anywhere!
Then once I decided on the spelling and had a blanket embroidered, the partylite catolog had there Ariana angel
collection, lol.

Ariana Star
We chose the name Ariana Star for our daughter (born April 23, 2004). Ariana means "Most Holy" in Old English, and "Silver" in
Welsh. Star is my own middle name. We loved the meaning of her name, Most Holy Silver Star - it fits her perfectly. -Lea

Folant Quartus
Our wonderful baby has finally come. My partner and I used your site to select our name: Folant Quartus Houston. He's
a lively little guy, so I'm sure he'll fit right into our house! We chose Folant because we heard that Mel Gibson is
working on a project about the Welsh Independence movement, analagous to Braveheart. We wanted to be ahead of the

Gemelliana Arwen Eressëa Ashley
I had suggested a few original names last winter while we were doing our baby name search. The one we ended up using was
Gemelliana (Gemma for short). It is a name from ancient Roma, and the name of a specific Roman military unit. Your
website gave me lots of ideas for lengthening Gemma; web searches revealed a real history for this name. We like
history. :-) Ashley is for my grandfather; it was his first name and his mother's maiden name. He died while I was pregnant with her.

Born 21st of Feb 2005. My husband was watching the Lion King 2 and thought one of the lions was called Kitarni,
but after doing an internet search we discovered it was actually Vitani. He still loved the name, but I wanted to
do a search to make sure the name didn't mean anything crude. In doing that I discovered it was a hungarian word
for Endure, Last. Isabella is a name I have loved for a long time. -daughter of Carmen and Royrie; sister to Chloe-Anne Constance, Adrian Geordi and Victoria Jennifer.

Riley George
Riley George was born on September 11, 2004. A friend of a co-worker had seven kittens she couldn't keep, and when I got out to
their house, Riley was the last one. I was expecting to get a girl, but when I looked in that sweet face, I just said, "His name
is Riley and he is MINE." I gave him the middle name of George for two reasons. First, it was a nickname from my Grandpa. Grandpa
calls every child George, so when I hear it, I think about him. Second, Riley was born on 9/11, and I wanted a patriotic name.

that it really meant "Fair", I thought Blake meant "Pure White One"... so I was thinking it meant Three Holy Beings in One Pure
Being. Trinity Blake also flows really well and I couldn't be happier with what I chose to name my little boy. He is truly a miracle

Avala Arwen
My baby was born 3-14-04. When I found out I was pregnant with her, I tried to "listen" or gage what kind of personality
she had, as I believe babies tell their parents what they want to be called (if you listen hard enough). I felt she had a
light, ethereal presence. I could "feel" light colors around her...light blues, aquas, & greens. The closest sound I could
equate to that kind of lightness was the letter "A". I already liked "Arwen", the fairy from the Lord of the Rings movies,
so I knew that would work it's way into her name somehow. One night as I lay there in bed drifting off to sleep, the name
"Avala" rolled out of my mouth, waking me up in a startled state. I immediately looked it up online to see what it meant,
but no where was there an "Avala". The closest I could find was "Avalon" which means something like island dwelling or
island life. Maybe that explained the light blue calming hues I saw around her. She definitely fits her name, which I see
now is completely unique & tranquil, yet full of life. Well, she's a Pisces, so maybe that explains some of it, too! I
associate it with an island fairy or something magically oceanic. -Kelli

but whatever). I loved the spelling. Worked with someone named Nielsen, and he turned out OK. It turns out there was
a Nielsen in the family! How psychic is that? Good omens all around. I just say "Nielsen Ratings" and everyone
remembers his name and how to spell it.
